Echoes of the Past, Present, Future
Through the use of Pure Data, two speakers, and accompanying acoustic structures, I created an immersive soundscape centered on psychoacoustics and the illusion of echoing. The audience is invited to feel the vibrations of the sound as it’s being confined between the parabolas.

In this work, echoes symbolize the persistence of my past and the internal chaos it entails. These reverberations—present yet increasingly distant over time—invite contemplation of how this evolving distance might shape future decisions. The soundscape evokes a sense of ambiguity and uncertainty, mirroring my personal journey. At its core, the piece represents a willingness to confront the unknown, to embrace the potential for change, and to seek forgiveness, as I seek to transcend the boundaries of my personal experience.
